Prince returns to "Planet Earth" | Tuesday, July 31, 2007
For many years, Prince has been a pioneer in the music business. By carving his own path and ignoring the conventions of popular music, his distinctive "Prince Sound" has endured for over twenty years.

Now, with his recent release titled Planet Earth, the Sexy M. F. slows things down a little. There really is only one danceable hit, the single "Guitar". Most of the album gets things into a groove. A kind of "Doin' it" groove. Not making love, mind you. Doin' it. Barry White style.

A prime example of this is "Future Baby Mama", where the first few bars of the song give some hint as to where the evening should really lead. Here's a hint: Its not a night of bowling.

This is a good album. Not necessarily a great Prince album, but really something to get you in the mood for a little doin' it.
